Yemack 1 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 it will be interesting to see how players react to Lids' absence. Go Wings!
Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 Either we squeak by with a win or we get smoked. Wings 3 (Dats, Z, Kopper) Flamers 2 (who cares, probably will be questionable since they crash into Ozzie the same time the puck crosses the line)
RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 This should be...interesting. I'll actually be missing this one tonight (I feel like that might be a good thing) because I'll be working the Michigan State/Michigan hockey game this evening. I would be very surprised, and impressed, with a win tonight. With a defensive corps like that, I just don't see how we'll be able to pull it off. But stranger things have happened. Enjoy the game everybody and Go Wings.
Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 I guess this is what I get for relishing in Ottawa's top line being injured, 3 players, 3 games. Top three defensemen out, ouch.

wingnut22 81 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 awesome GDT as always aflac! our defense is a little unnerving....but I see us still coming away with the win. Although it might be a close one. We need to prove we can win even with key injuries. Nice to see Hartigan in the lineup though....
Kira 451 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 Well, if we ever needed a test of how we react to adversity, this is surely it. Cheli will be in his glory - he's wanted more ice time, and he's certainly gonna get it. Here's hoping we can rise above the problems and come out of Calgary with a series sweep. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!! DeuxEx 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 I think the Wings will have to score a lot, which they can do, to overcome injuries on defense. It's hard to believe Lebda and Chelios make up our top line but I'm excited to see Ericsson, that guy is huge.
esteef 2,679 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 I'm liking the line combo's from Babs for tonight. A good mix of skill and size on each line against a rough-and-tumble team like Calgary, who always plays us tough in the Saddledome. C'mon young players, let's see what 'cha got! Wings - 6 Flames - 0 Goals: Homer, Homer, Homer, Homer, Homer, and Ericsson! (all Homer goals right next to the crease!) Cheers! esteef

kylee 727 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 i think this one is gonna be real close. Ozzie had a great bounce back on monday against the Avs. yes, there are a lot of injuries but for some reason i think the Wings will hang with the Flames tonight. go wings! Well, let's make the best of it and look on it as a nice chance to see what our future looks like. I'll be under the couch getting pickled. Go Wings! Go Ozzie! Go Downey!
