OsGOD 3 Report post Posted February 28, 2008 My car was stolen when a group of ex-cons were hired by a liquidation company to help liquidate my old store i worked for.... Us "real" employees had a locked break room where we kept all the stuff (jackets, purses and other things) locked up in. Well one of the cons got the passcode and proceeded to break in an take my jacket which on that specific day, had my keys in the pocket. bam car gone. Now leaving your keys in the ignition with you not in it.... classic stupidity and deserves to be chuckled at. Its not like he was held up at Gun point or anything. I laugh at people in beater cars that pull up to gas stations to buy a pack or six of smokes and keep their car running... stupidty runs rampant everywhere. Annnd, even though I have been in this thread like twelve times already.. (exaggerates) the humour just actually hit me.. and I can't stop grinning. Phaneuf is an idiot. Hahahaha. The Secret 304 Report post Posted February 28, 2008 going to ducks game on fri when they play flames i should make a sign.... Dion where's your car? Hahaha, How about making a For Sale sign?! I for one found this stolen car story hilarious... there were no injuries and Dion "The Douchebag" was the butt of the joke. Classic! I'd have went mud bogging with it and left a special present or two inside when I was done.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted February 29, 2008 It's funny because of his stupidity. He left it running while he went into the store. I wonder if he leaves his house keys in the front door lock? Yeah I know. Regardless of how much money you make/who you are in most instances it sucks to have your car stolen, but I took too much idiot fuel last night and it took me a while to register that he basically was almost as big of an idiot as I was last night. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 29, 2008 Wow. Talk about culture shock. I'm glad I don't live in a big city because I don't even lock my house unless it is windy. And I'm trailor trash. We always leave cars running, but most people have an autostart. Both for the same reason: it's freaking cold here. I'm not sure what it says about big cities when y'all are shocked that someone would leave a car running, and I'm shocked that someone would take something that doesn't belong to them. Kind of scary when the latter is considered normal behaviour, and the former is questionable. Oh, well, he got it back, no one was hurt, and it's fun to say "Phaneuf".
