Don't you guys get it? The twins MADE Franzen success as they made Homer. Sure, Homer or the Mule needs to come through and get it done, but without the twins, it isn't going to happen.

Yeah the point though is that Franzen is having more success, at least recently, than Homer with them.

And that's the game. Dammit. Losing sucks

Bulls***! I open this thread to talk about how we're taking it and we end up getting scored on instantly.

Good comeback though, unfortunately no win for Mac but Zetterberg and Datsyuk have all 6 assists and Franzen had a sick game.

Now .. time for Izzo and the Spartans to push themselves into the Elite Eight.

God damn Osgood. I'm not saying this one, but the last one was a softy. Wake the hell up out there. Is this clutch playoff goal tending? I'm not asking for "top notch" :-), just a little clutch.

Haven't heard Cleary's named much tonight.

And I wonder if Hudler has played his way out of a top 6 spot for the playoffs.

Top 6? He played his way out of a spot period. He was directly responsible for 2 of the goals.

Also, Ozzie is clearly not the guy to lead this team in the playoffs. He looked off tonight on 3 of the goals.

Homer is superior when healthy. Superior hands, superior hustle and superior play in front of the net. Can't believe anyone who watched a game in their life would think otherwise. When Franzen can prove he can score without one or two of the sickest players alive on his line, then he has proven something.

Not quite sure I see your logic on that. The last goal was a softie, I won't deny that. But the first goal was just a flawless pass from behind the goal with no defensive coverage in front; goaltenders rarely have a chance on shots like that. The next two goals were deflections - one off Franzen and Tkachuk, then the second off Lidstrom.

Yeah but they don't play by themselves is the thing. They play with 2 other forwards out there. And Franzen is performing too well right now to take him off that line just because Homer was on it before his injury.

I agree, but Homer hasn't played well since he got hurt way early in the season. If he comes back, it'll take him a while to get back to form. I'd still put Homer on the 1st line, though.

Also, please tell me the girl on the left in your avatar is single.

Homer's been invisible the past two months. As long as Franzen is playing like these or even HALf of what he's doing now, I'd put him in over Homer.

And at least we got a point and great game for "ZDF".

Because he tells them it is. He likes the attention of people saying his sister is hot, even though he pretends to get offended when people comment.

anyone who talks about embarassing loss is either blind or didn't watch

the game. Wings played a solid game. they lacked some creativity at

times but were clearly outplaying Blues and creating more great chances.

Blues had a lot of luck tonight and Wings seemed to have few. this could

easily have ended 4-1 for Wings.

refs have also made some questionable calls (I mean: slash on Datsyuk

and a couple of minutes later no call on Blues player breaking Pavel's

stick) but it wasn't a major factor here.

solid game by the Wings. would like to see Oz a little more focused but

it's just Blues and 5 games before playoffs so it really, really doesn't

mattter.

Yeah, Brodeur, Roy and other greats had games like this all the time. Christ, can't we just accept that Ozzie is inconsistent as hell? He had Detroit biting its nails all the way to the 97 cup. He did by God, but man he keeps fans on the edge of wetness.

I always thought the poster was a girl. If I'm wrong, that'll definitely offend him.

No, it's more like amusement that a bunch of online dweebs can't keep from getting a stiffy from a little 72 pixel wide pair of boobs.

If you're watching them through hasek colored glasses, I can understand how you'd see it that way.
