Evgeni Nabokov has "tweeked" his groin again in practice this week, only much worse this time. Current thoughts are that he will likely be out 3-4 weeks. Ron Wilson hasn't mentioned how he will be handling the situation, who will be called up etc. Great news as far as I'm conserned, since this means the SJS are working with a backup goalie in the playoffs...

Also in the news... There's a rumor floating around that Ribeiro maybe taking the last couple games off and possibly first few playoffs games off due to issues with his ankle. None of the staff nor he has mentioned anything about it. However, he's been seen wearing a brace at practice on and off the ice.

What a perfect way to lure people in also...no better heading than "injuries" (except maybe something with the words Pronger and kicked out of NHL) would get me to take the bait.

isnt giguere out seriosuly for the ducks?? hiller will crumple under playoff stress. i never hope for injuries but i hate the ducks!
