I thought after datsyuk scored it was all over, but then I saw the break down in the D. Just because they pressure doesn't mean we should lose our heads, but then they do and make stupid plays. Wings_Rule_1010 4 Report post Posted April 15, 2008 That loss was so disheartening. In a matter of 15 seconds we went from winning, to tied, to losing. Lets hope this was a bit of a wake-up call. They let two quick goals in last game and got away with it. This time it didn't happen. On that note, I fully expect the team to come out fired up for game 4. Superman54 91 Report post Posted April 15, 2008 Goal 1: No ones fault, it was tipped, Hasek was screened Goal 2: Defense pinched, Hasek slid, no one bailed us out Goal 3: No screening, from the blue line, Hasek should have had it, even he knew it Goal 4: Defense screw up, Hasek couldn't bail us out....again All together, our defense didnt have their night, hopefully Wendsday AND FOR GODS SAKE SOMEONE BAIL US OUT!!! BUT you gotta make AT LEAST one of those saves. you just do. thats what kipper does. thats what nabby does (last night his team played 4 minutes not 40 so i give him the benefit of the doubt there). thats what luongo does. hasek needs to. goodnight. btw we win this series 4 games to 1. Hell, I'd rather lose this game 5-0 and just say that we never had a chance. SHHHHHHHHHHHH. I nearly broke my tv throwing stuff at it that series. ...but thanks for bring it up again! Uhmmmm . . . Kipper got pulled last night after 3 goals in 3-1/2 minutes. Point is, every great goalie has bad games now and then. Dom by far wasn't the only Wing with a craptacular game tonight. Why are we playing prevent when we should be playing our own game of controlling the puck and playing aggressive goal-scoring hockey. Does anybody feel that changing the lines from game to game is confusing? To me, it seems we can't get in our groove from game to game... I know u love to defend Hasek and all, but he is as much to blame as the defense. A goalie is there to bail u out, to make a big save at the right time, and did he? im guessing no....... Im sure Babcock will get the boys fuelled up for Wednesday. Doesn't matter what happened its only one game, i know alot of ppl are pissed off because of that collapse im not too happy here myself. dallas27 7 Report post Posted April 15, 2008 Third goal was pretty bad, no clue what people want Hasek to do on that fourth one. He cut the angle as well as he could have and Arnott made a beautiful shot up under the bar. He had about an inch to squeeze that shot in and he did it. We're still winning this series in 5 games. It's fine. Gonna have to respectfully disagree with the fourth one. From where the shot was if he properly cuts down the angle and challenges he just has to stand there and let it hit him. He was way too far to the right imo. What can you do though. He has been fantastic sans a couple periods. If the team keeps playing they wrap it up in six at the latest. The Wings are made to put the puck in the net...they shouldn't have tried to turn into a poor man's trap when they're no good at it. If the Wings would have played THEIR game, and kept the Preds in their zone and on their heels, then those two goals prolly wouldn't have happened. Maybe, but prolly not. Oh well.
