Thats right everyone. Its all Lilja's fault. He should have saved those shots...

You can't expect a goalie to make a save on a player shooting point blank at the net.

This is not something I am going to have fun sleeping on dammit. Should not EVER happen.

But if it's going to happen, why not happen to Detroit...

Anyways ... see you all Wednesday.

Well overall terrible effort by the Wings, Nashville played well enough to beat us. As a whole Nashville has nothing over us and we'll still win in five. They got lucky tonight, they won't on Wednesday and then the series is over at home for us.

Win game 4, or lose the series.

Not really... Nashville has never won an away playoff game, and Detroit's not going to be the easiest place for them to win.

Detroit won the first two home games, lost first two away games and then once again won two in a row last year in the Calgary series.

Nobody said this was going to be an easy series... In fact I think it will just get easier after this series. Nashville has been giving us hell all year (along with ALL OTHER central division teams). I guess I will just have to go with Wings in 5.

Teaches you to get your ass off your high horse. Nothing is set, they can't just stop playing. Especially a one goal lead means absolutely nothing.

That was about the worst 4 or 5 minutes of hockey i've ever watched. The wings pretty much just stood around and watched the game happen in the last 5 mins of the 3rd.

Worst. Game. Ever.

Just plain bad game by the Wings. They were outmuscled, outskated and generally outplayed. They were hanging on whenever they had leads rather than continue playing. Did they win a single battle for a loose puck? The Preds took the body and took it to 'em all night long. The Wings played defense like it was an All-Star game, trying to get by with stickwork instead of laying hits. You can't win in the playoffs like that. A couple extra saves would have been nice.

I love that when the Wings lose a game, so many people on here start acting like it is the end of the world. :ranting:

they still have a one game lead. Have some faith!!!

WINGS IN 5 GAMES!!! :nhl2:

first off this is not just a GAME this is a PLAYOFF GAME....and when we play like we did tonight in the playoffs people will have problems.

i have faith...Im just not happy at all.

Eh, at least Dallas and Anaheim aren't playing tonight. Were I to have to suffer an Anaheim win on top of a Detroit loss, I'd be pissed.

I picked this series to go six games, so I shouldn't be terribly surprised. Hell, even the Sharks didn't sweep Nashville last year. And that's the SHARKS.

This team has some serious attitude and confidence problems. 3 times in the last 2 games they've come out flat right after the other team scores.

And Hasek looks like a goaie from the 70's and 80's out there giving up goals from 60 feet out on slapshots.

Scoring two goals in under 3 minutes, 3 times in 2 games is not luck. There is a problem that needs to be resolved.
