Guest Mac4Life25 Report post Posted April 15, 2008 (edited) I hope to God they can improve on their record from last season. But I'm a life long Lions fan. So I'm quite aware of reality. Here's how I feel the year will go: at ATL(W) vs GB(W) at SF(W) BYE vs CHI(W) at MIN(L) at HOU(W) vs WSH(L) at CHI(L) vs JAC(L) at CAR(L) vs TB(L) vs TEN(L) vs MIN(L) at IND(L) vs NO(L) at GB(L) So there it is. My official prediction. And honestly, I can't see it going any other way from the looks of the schedule. Lions will finish 5-11. BlakChamber 8 Report post Posted April 16, 2008 Damn, the day they're in Houston is the day after my wedding. Oh well...like I really want to spend money to see the Lions.
betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted April 16, 2008 Getting sick of early byes and at GB to close the season. Exactly what I was thinking. The Lions always get hosed by the schedule makers by having Green Bay at home early and in Lambeau when it's -40 out. Every friggin year. Just once I'd like to see them reverse that. My own predictions: at ATL(L) vs GB(L) at SF(L) BYE(L) vs CHI(L) at MIN(L) at HOU(L) vs WSH(L) at CHI(L) vs JAC(L) at CAR(L) vs TB(L) vs TEN(L) vs MIN(L) at IND(L) vs NO(L) at GB(L) What, like the Lions should ever be favored to win a game? Wins are a bonus. 0-17 baby.

Lou_Siffer 1 Report post Posted April 16, 2008 Rather than do my usual thing and pick 10-6, im going to go with the obvious 2-14.
Guest Mac4Life25 Report post Posted April 16, 2008 Like it matters when they play at GB Yeah, cause Aaron Rodgers could even hold Brett Favre's jockstrap.
Guest Mac4Life25 Report post Posted April 16, 2008 What, like the Lions should ever be favored to win a game? Wins are a bonus. 0-17 baby. Atlanta is in worse shambles then Detroit(and that's saying something). And we always tend to play the packers well in OUR house. And with no Brett Favre. I gave an edge to the Lions. But as you can see I know we'll get killed at Lambeau. With or without Favre. San Fran is far from impressive. Their one shinning star Frank Gore had a decline in every RB stat. But I did go out on a limb with Chicago and Houston. I could see either of them beating us. But unfortunately I see a looooonngg losing streak from week 8 to the end of the season. Unless some crazy miracle happened from week to week.

Not saying they'll win week 2, but they haven't had as much trouble in Detroit as of late as people seem to think.

mannysBETTER3434 1 Report post Posted April 16, 2008 I'll wait til after the draft to make predictions. Like that matters. I thought China Doll Rogers, Terrence Holt, M. Williams, Boss Bailey, Sean Cody, and Kevin Jones were all great picks to just to name a few, and most have not helped at all. Only good picks in my opinion were Sims, Roy, and Megatron, but the jury is still out for him.
Doggy 130 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 Am I the only one that can't see the Lions having a winning record with Jon Kitna? I love the Lions but gees they were hard to watch late last year. At least I still had the Colts to follow.
