Our Playoff Beards

Well, I started growing my playoff beard for my own hockey team since we started our playoffs before the Wings did. We won the Cup in our league, so I guess it worked.

I'll post a pic of the team with the Cup once I have one.

Anyway, I figured since we won our Cup it would be good for me to continue growing it for the Wings. Who else has a playoff beard? Let see them!

i shaved mine not even thinking about it, somewhere around game 1 or 2. mine doesn't grow in fast anyways, so i should have gotten a week headstart haha. Not gonna post a pic cause i'm too damn lazy and i don't want to be mauled by females wanting my phone number and address.

I can easily grow face fuzz and get close to a full-grown beard if I don't shave for 3 or 4 days straight, but I would never be able to ignore the urge to scratch and even if I didn't, the beard would still itch and it'd be a pain in the butt for me to keep it up or properly trimmed.

Tried that in 2002 but I could only grow it for a series before it drove me ( and my girlfriend) nuts. This series I am wearing a RW T that has won every game that I have worn it. Like going to the Joe with a black T under the jersey but I am going to be wearing that grey T for every game.

Was tempted to trim it after our couple of losses to the Preds, to change the luck of the team...But mine has been going since we clinched, as the tradition originally goes.
