I didn't have the heart to pick Philly in either of the past two rounds and I can't once again in this round. With Timo out for the series I just don't think the Flyers can even make it close. I'll give them a garbage game or maybe even 2 if they're lucky, but that's it. Pens take Game 1.

Some people are really picking Philly to win this series, regardless of the Timo injury.

The more I watch sports shows, the more I wonder, how the hell these dudes end up on TV? I mean you get great pay, great hours, fame, hang out with the stars, watch tons of sports, and then get to "report" on it. Doesn't matter if you make sense or not. Wow.

Only because I want to see a bloodied, banged up and hurting Pittsburgh squad in the Finals, i'll say the Pens in 6. Goooooo Philly!!!!!!!!

Plus, I have this real funny feeling the Pens are going to get tons of breaks if they get to the Finals, because seeing Crosby & Malkin win a Cup this year would be GOLD to the NHL and they need it.

Biron was great in the Montreal series but he's going to have to be even 10x better to stop the likes of Crosby, Malkin, Hossa, Malone, Sykora etc etc

I really don't want to see Crosby and Malkin get any further in the playoffs.... the Canadian media is starting to get on my nerves with their Crosby love..... That's my wish as well. I might've been biased since I was cheering for the Rangers, but it really seemed to me like the Pens got most of the calls their way that entire series. Some pretty bad ones at that.

Sorry to any Philly fans, but I after the Pens went up 3-0 over New York, I remember simply saying that whoever won out of Philly vs. Montreal to simply give the Pens a bit of a test. Atleast 6 games.

Truth is, I am suprised Philly got this far, so maybe they have it in them, but like most, I just can't see them competing with the talent of the Pens.

Of the 8 teams in the Eastern Conference, the Penguins are the only one that would scare me in a Finals matchup. Scary talent on that team. If the Wings were out I'd be pulling hard for the Pens - long been my second-favorite team in the league - but there's a better-than-even chance the Wings will end up in the Finals and so I really, really don't want to see Pittsburgh there too.

Edit: That said, a Wings-Penguins matchup would be a dream come true for the NHL, and it would be all kinds of fun to win that kind of a contest.
