Let's see what hapenes to Dallas when the exact same thing happens to them, oh wait it did and it counted... my bad. They are just happy like little school campers because we didn't beat the crap out of them like we're gonna do on Saturday!

I read that as taunting the NHL to come up with more ficticious reason as to call of our goals...

hopefully Holland's stiff arm will be enough to scare the NHL straight into making good "fair" calls

OK I have watched the replay many times, and I think with my homer goggles off, can some one please tell me where Holmer contacts Turco's blocker?

"You can squawk about that, but to be honest with you, I thought he was still in the way," Dallas forward Steve Ott said. "I seen the puck just goes by Marty, but Marty's blocker gets hit by Holmstrom's elbow. Yeah, he's out of the paint, but that doesn't matter. The goalie still has to be able to make a save and do what he does. I thought it was an extremely close call, but he still did nick him on the way in."

God I can't wait to chant Turco ALL game tomorrow.

Oh, just so you know Turco, it doesn't matter what you "feel," the rule is black and white. He wasn't in the crease. There isn't jack sh*t you can do, other than cry about it. Take your panties off and maybe become a hockey player.

I think the next game will give us more freedom in front of the net. After that blown call the refs are likely to be a bit more lax on the goalie interference call. For example, they will only call it like when Homer actually TOUCHES the goalie, or actuallys skates THROUGH the crease. How about that!

They better camp right out in front of that net. If they disallow one goal, do it again. If they keep disallowing them, it makes the problem with reffing that much more obvious. If they don't we eventually win.

My favorite part of that article is:

"Holland spoke briefly after the game with Mike Murphy, the supervisor of officials for this series, and will talk to him again today. He wants to make sure his club doesn't get burned again by that call."

That's the difference between the Wings and other teams. We're respected enough that our GM goes and talks to the supervisor of officials and they actually listen. I sincerely doubt that is the case with most teams.

I think DMac should run Turco in the first period tomorrow.

After we go up by two goals, he should run him again.

And again after the buzzer sounds and the game is over.

If we somehow lose tomorrow, I say we run him over and over again until his head explodes out of frustration.

I think running the goaltender is not practiced as a valid statement maker enough.

When the goalie keeps hacking the s*** out of your guys in front of the net and the refs do nothing about it, its time to run him over and over................until that s*** stops.

Something needs to be done about these hack goalies "defending themselves"

I think that's the most classless idea I've heard since "hey, that's Kris Draper in front of the bench there and he doesn't see me.....let me just shove his head into the boards right quick."

How do you expect to make an issue out of the crappy things Turco is doing if you run up and do something worse? You're advocating goonery for goonery's sake. What are we, the Bryan Marchment All-Stars?

Ridiculous.

Didn't the boards light up calling for the head of one Riberio for doing something similar to running our goaltender?

:::EDIT::: nevermind.. i see where are you going with that

does anyone think babcock told them to come out firing on all cylinders? i mean it sounds obvious, but imagine what he said?? he must have been passionate after the game 4 loss. dallas wasnt going to go down that easily, or else they wouldnt of been to the finals. i hope the crowd tries to make a significant difference, i think dallas had a huge boost back home on weds. i wanna see that sea of red s*** again, and you can bet there will be more than one octopus. i think the checking is going to be HEAVY too, with kronwall leading the flagship

Did they win anything?

Well, other than beating Domi over and over again.

I don't think I asked if they won anything.

I think people can like those days regardless of winning or losing.
