I don't have NHL Network so I justwatched a posted link and thoguht "holy hell he went to town on his team". Well, Therien wasn't AS negative in his press conference tonight. Still, that link is worth watching a few times. Only former Lake Superior State coach Frank Azalone (sp) made a press conference more interesting. Now if you two can just tag-team on Flip in game 2 Kronwall is a beast and has been amazing this post-season, even if you take away the 5+ huge hits that he has had he has been really good in his own end and leads the team in assists, he has been putting up a Conn Smythe effort very quietly. QFT. He hit Malkin a couple times and took him off his game. Barrie 900 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 Great start by the Wings Crosby, Malkin, Staal, and Hossa were shut down and frustrated as I excepted they would be. I really don't have a lot to add to all the comments, all I can say is we played an excellent all around game tonight. After winning Game 1, having Franzen possibly back for Game 2, is HUGE!! It's been 6 years since our last trip to the Finals, and I almost forgot how exciting it is to be there. The Finals are a lot different then the regular season and the rest of the playoffs. That aside, i finally watched the game on CBC so much better, cuz i have American Satellite, it was much more enjoyable outcome aside. I like Cherry getting behind us finally an analyst that doesnt have a mouthfull of penguin balls. WE DOMINATED! What more can be said, the boys played amazing, Ozzie wow just wow! The 2 guys in a funk both score, this is meant to be. LOL at fleury face planting when coming out, nervous much, dont worry all fear the all powerful Red AND White that is Detroit Red Wing Hockey. Malkin, Crosby, Hossa? When you watch the pens play and dont notice these players from the others in the lineup, News Flash: The other team (DRW) is owning you. I think sammy finally put a puck in our mouths tonight with netting the goals he did. That first one was damn pretty. Wait didnt danny boy score too, good to see him get the monkey off his back too. That should have told them it wasn't gonna be their night. Pasha was a demon out there - who would have thought he'd lead the team in hits so far? You won't always score a few lucky goals but you will force mistakes from your opponent. Now, don't get me wrong. I will continue to swear in frustration at you during games when it's totally uncalled for, but I am more than happy to be shut up by your play again and again and again. Sammy was pleasant surprise Kronner's hit on Ryan "keep your stick up" Malone was priceless I am happy for Dan Cleary, he finally got his scoring touch back Zetterberg checking Crosby made me smile. Pavel was a beast once again! Malkin was frustrated and invisible..good And Ozzie..wow..he was like brick wall. I saw the video. Sid didn't whine at all. He said nothing wrong. The fact is, he could speak German in a presser and people would be annoyed by the sound of what he was saying and call him a whiner.
