I for one would do it in a heartbeat if I was anywhere near Detroit, let alone for the potential cash payout. About that though: How do we confirm who throws what octopus? Anyone could pipe up if it happens and say "Yeah, that was me". Having multiple throwers only makes things more complex. Instead of giving all this pledged money to the alleged thrower, we select a charity that the Wings organization supports and all donate to it if someone pegs Bettman (or lands one near him). But, dipwad IS a lawyer and even a near miss may incur legal fees (you guys at the Joe hafta hide the thrower!), so I'd also be inclined to help out with those if needed. Hiding the thrower is imperative. If you attempt the throw, make sure you have everyone around you raise their hands and wave them so identifying the thrower is next to impossible. I am sure anyone near you will more than likely be glad to help. I am thinking hitting him probably isn't the best thing to do (Even though I would LOVE to see it). Anyhow, if anyone attempts this. I would love to see Bettman receive a hit, or the version with multiple octopusses thrown at him. I will be watching for this tonight. If this happens I am willing to chip in 20$ too. This could be THE NIGHT for the RED WINGS to celebrate coming out on top. Even though we may dislike Bettman, we need to leave the spotlight on the PLAYERS, not selfishly make this about us and our gripes. 2. The players have been working hard not to fight back on dirty hits. They have shown incredible self-discipline to stay above it all. Why should we lower ourselves to such a level as to possibly confirm in the minds of the rest of the nation that Red Wing fans are "classless"? We should be above this, too. 3.
