pavyaz19 1 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 Sorry if this has already been posted (I don't have 30 minutes to search the forums for old topics, I'd give you a tissue if I had one...) http://www.lightinthebox.com/Detroit-Red-W...09-_p26440.html I tried to figure out what the shipping would cost, but you have to register with their site before seeing those fees. I didn't want to... Although it does look like their site is well designed and managed, I'm a bit standoffish on this one. Is that an abnormally sized winged-wheel I see? Where is the RBK patch on the bottom front? Is this an authentic (not a replica) jersey? I'm not gonna hold my breath. But if one of you want to give it a try, order one and let us know if we should do the same. Looks like #40 is the only option, not bad... but will the name Zetterberg accompany that #40? edicius 3,269 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 Reading further, apparently Zata's the only number available too. 2. About Jersey No.: For the jersey only the No.40. is available, because of the great market requirement. And our factory is making great efforts in keeping pace with the market demand. Inultus 12 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 Ahhh, Cream-of-sum-yung-guy numba foetee we make you love zets long time. Seriously, the whole country makes a living from faking everything from tv to brake shoes. I have almost zero respect for China. The respect I do have is from taking Tai Chi. China=wannabe USA Seriously, they have a brewery called China Blue Ribbon.

betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 Seriously, they have a brewery called China Blue Ribbon. Can't they at least rip off our good beer? Seriously? Chinese PBR? In the spirit of the Rollexx watches you can probably get all over Beijing, the jersey will likely come back saying Zetterburg. Come to think of it, I think that's how some people think it's spelled anyway.
Happy Pancake 6 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 How dare they That actually makes me kind of mad. On topic: Any foreign website that has English sentences that don't quite make sense or has abbreviations for common words (Pls in this case) makes me incredibly uneasy. $22 for a jersey is obviously fake. I paid more for my Cup Champions T-shirt.
Guest nutz2u Report post Posted August 21, 2008 the bumper sticker was made in china [/quote I make a point to not purchase anything mfg in china, nor do I shop at walmart and people that do should not complain about low wages or the declining job market. DenSter 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 For sure that's fake, but really.... $150 for a 'real replica'???? I thought $125 for the CCM sweaters was already too expensive. Are the names even stitched on anymore?
sergei_is_still_a_wing 1 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 although i will not be purchasing one b/c i just don't need anymore wings jerseys... Who cares if it is fake. sure if you are paying nearly the same price as a real one, you most definitely should get the real deal. but $22? come on. like someone stated, thats cheaper than a wings shirt. if you like the jersey get it. quality and authenticity aside, no one would ever know but you that its not the real deal. i have a couple pairs of fake NIKE SB's (didn't want to shell out $400 on ebay) and even sneakerheads can't tell the difference. HkyTwn 5 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 Yeah it has to be a fake. There's just no way. My Cup hat cost more. But if you are talking about Walmart, in order to go with the 'if they shop there they can't complain', you also can't shop at places like Gap, Pac Sun, etc. It's not just Walmart, but Walmart is the one that gets targeted. OsGOD 3 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 (edited) First words Don't Do it!! second words Suggest Retail is NOT $34.05 UDS they are claiming Don't give china anymore money than they already get! although i will not be purchasing one b/c i just don't need anymore wings jerseys... For me I don't think its the fake you are refering too.... By fake i am looking at you just getting a piece of paper with the picture of the sheet on it. Hell if you even get something at all other than a nice deduction from you bank account. Hell i can make a site and put a picture of any item on it and claim to be legit. Buy from a company based in North America Edited August 21, 2008 by OsGOD
C-Dub 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 The jersey is made in china one way or another, right? Perhaps these are the ones they make after hours that the NHL gets no royalties from. Not impressed with the RBK jerseys here either. I paid $180 for my replica, the Captain's "C" plus number on the back have a rubbery feel (They are heat pressed) and the white number's on the red arm sleve feel a bit more like fabric. Either way, it looks pretty cheap but damn it, it's almost $200! I swear the Starter one I have was a replica back in the days and it looks 100% better and the feel is much better. I am not dropping $320 on an authentic jersey, that's just plain robbery. On a side note, my 100% authentic NFL jersey cost me $175...how come NHL jersey's are so much more expensive?? C-Dub 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 2 words: Fight strap!! I reckon NHL jerseys use a bit more material (it's debateable...a jersey in my size still uses less than an O or D lineman I am sure!) but that doesn't cut it for me. $320! My Lord, the NHL is making a KILLING on these. I bet it costs them less than $40 to produce one of these.
LeftWinger 5,129 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 the bumper sticker was made in china ...yep, everyting about China is fake, even their female gymnists are fake, they are too young to compete, but who's gonna make waves when the games are in China? Duh! Oh, BTW, not that I am supporting McCain, but Huds, the guy in you Avatar is not gonna make a differene either, he only make this country worse (as will McCain) but it doesn't matter becuase 2012 is approaching and it has been written, so this is the path we must all follow! ...back to subject. We must support China so when we attack Russia, they will help us!
