From the video I've watched, Leino definitely has a high level of skill. If he can pull the defensive side together, he's gonna be an nhl'er. I doubt that it's going to be this year though. Is the fact that he skipped the prospects game due to being a good shot to make the team? Is he head and shoulders above those guys? Emmerton looked good. But you also have total duds like Kindl playing there.

The "equivalent" of what Downey did, in terms of my stairs metaphor, would be me 1) seeing you at the top of a flight of stairs, slightly off balance and with your back to me, and 2) nudging you, because, yeah, maybe you'll break your neck, but s***, I'm just so pumped up that I can't be expected to act carefully and logically in this situation.

With that aforementioned lineup, I would really love to see Big Rig crack the lineup rather than Quincey in hopes that he could take Sammy's void at the point for the 2nd powerplay unit. I want to see that 100 mph slapshot in action.

Ehh, tried to bring in a different topic since the Downey hit on Flip was covered on the first page. This can be the all-for-one thread! What else can we add to this? Howard should be the back-up instead of Conklin? What else am I missing?
