Rivalred 630 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 I love how Hossa is never afraid to shoot the puck. It is nice to see him shoot, but a couple times he could of passed and the Wings could of had a better scoring chance. He is quick, that is for sure.

Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Kopecky made the smart decision there, but at some point, he needs to go with Ruutu tonight. That wasnt the time, but it's coming. Gah, I wish there was an enforcer playing.

Scotty 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 I'm afraid wings will loose this one as well, even though alfredsson is injured... Wings probably isn't "there" yet.. The Wings look pretty good to me.

SuperNovaXll 124 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Good period outside of taking dumb penalties. Hopefully a few more pucks will go in for us next period.
uk_redwing 495 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Did they seriously let them cheap shot Hudler? I know someone who wouldnt...*looks at sig* Shame hes not around anymore ya know?
The Mule 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Despite the penalties, not a bad period from the Wings' standpoint by any means.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 The Wings look pretty good to me. I agree with Mindfly. Because of the change up on the top two lines, its causing a lot of disorientation that otherwise is never there. You can tell the guys up front have gotten more accustom to each other, but there still not quite there yet. But of course a Wings team that isn't fully tuned is still a hell of a lot better than almost every team in the NHL. I'd like to see Hank dominate a little more though.. Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 I know someone who wouldnt...*looks at sig* Shame hes not around anymore ya know? I'm not going to even touch that with a 20 foot pole. If the cheapshots go unpunished by the time the game ends, then we can start talking lol.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 How is Detroit playing? I haven't watched so far, PLEASE tell me better than Thursday Much better communication out there. They're doing a great job of limiting Ottawa's chances. They're still not playing like a well-oiled machine or anything, and the top two lines have still looked kind of choppy at times, but all in all everyone looks to be getting more comfortable. Pretty good stuff so far.
The Mule 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 How is Detroit playing? I haven't watched so far, PLEASE tell me better than Thursday The Wings played a much, much better first period, with the exception of a couple stupid penalties. We outshot the Senators 17-6 without a power play.

Guest Four Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Thanks for the information guys! I'm glad to see Detroit is starting to come together and play as a unit once again. I was slowly doubting the new lines after the last game. I guess I just miss D/Z combo (N)
