The problem is that their young new talent is playing their hearts out (pun not intended, R.I.P.). That was their game in 2007 as well, they were just better able handle the constant stream of penalty kills. But as has been said, it's early yet. The Ducks started slowly last year, and a bunch of people here predicted they would miss the playoffs. That didn't happen (although getting surprised by Dallas in the first round was almost as good). Kings still would have won if the goalies played better. I haven't seen the Kings play that well in a while... too bad they have to play us in a couple weeks.
