puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 Never. The person below me would like to have their first car back. Nope, my first car was a piece of crap. But, I wish I had my dad's last car back. 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible - sweet car!! Of course, I would like it back all restored, with oil-slick black paint job and leather seats. I loved that car. TPBM has the rest of the year off from work!
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 Si, although the company I work for has work today/Friday. I chose to take the days off. Yippee for still having vacation time. The person below me is going to use any excess fireworks after tonight, if they have any, to wake up somebody within the next few days and watch them react funny. Casey 145 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 No fireworks here. TPBM has been subjected to the steaming pile of crap that is Quantum of Solace for the Wii.
sjradio 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 No, It was actually for my Atari not my Wii But TPBM, is nervous about getting the coupon for a digital TV converter
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Never been cool enough to be eligible for such a coupon. The person below me has gotten a hold of that one before.
Kira 451 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Which one???? TPBM spent last night quietly.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Very quietly. In bed, alone, with a laptop on mute so as not to wake anyone. The person below me watched the Winter Classic today.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 (edited) No! Of course I did. And a funny story regarding that. My parents called me and invited me to hang out for a while right before the game. Didn't really want to but I would've felt guilty if I didn't come over at all during the day after being invited so I decided to and sometimes I don't talk to them enough or share stuff going on with me enough. Anyways... We were watching bowl games before the hockey game. My dad commented on the TV guide that he saw that the Wings and Blackhawks were going to be playing on TV, but at Wrigley Field, and he thought it was a typo or something (I didn't tell them anything about this game leading up to it, etc.). My mom was like, what the hell are they doing playing outdoors and how can they play outdoors? They thought all the players and fans there were crazy. Also, I was wearing my Datsyuk Winter Classic mock jersey shirt that she got me for Christmas, and didn't realize that this was the actual shirt she got me until she noticed the Wrigley Field logo on the shirt. Funny stuff, they were actually pretty curious and interested in the game. Was good times watching the game with them. The person below me has poured more hot sauce than normal on their tongues and held it there for as long as they could before going bezerk needing water. *shrugs* Edited January 2, 2009 by SouthernWingsFan
heinz57 11 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Umm... Call me boring, but no. The person below me has short hair.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Depends on your definition of short; I cut 24 inches off 4 years ago, from long enough I could sit on it up to neck level. Now it'd about to the middle of my back, which is short for me. The person below me loves watching old Wings games from years gone by.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 If I had the time to, then yes, but I rarely watch old games I tape or whatever to begin with if I've watched them live to start. The person below me has imagined how they would look if a bobblehead was created with their body.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Eeek! NO! Bobbleheads weird me out big time. I have this neck-related phobia set: vampires, strangulation, head falling off...that sort of thing. I can't abide bobbleheads. The person below me has a stranger phobia than mine (please!).
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 Does leg chopped off count as well as the rest of those? If so, I win. The person below me was afraid of the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man as a kid, and still is today.

SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 Hell no! I hate them! They made me look stupid all the time as it took me at least an hour to put them in properly the few times I wore them. Besides, I actually like how I look with glasses on. The person below me gets easily amused by honking the horn in their car over and over again and hearing the horn noise. *shrugs*

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted January 5, 2009 Kind of busy thus far- drove from the Twin Cities (stayed over after the game last night due to the roads) to Watertown, SD (parents' house), picked up Nik and my luggage, drove home, shoveled out, and am looking forward to a quiet evening at home. The person below me has had (or been informed that they had) cooties from being touched by a member of the opposite sex.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted January 5, 2009 Yep, damn cooties get me every time. They got me a lot when I was a kid, they still get me now! Damn women! The person below me can't help but laugh at this even though this is an unfortunate result.
