The Red Wings on the ballot are defensemen Nicklas Lidstrom and Brian Rafalski, forwards Pavel Datsyuk, Henrik Zetterberg and Marian Hossa, and goalie Chris Osgood.

Lidstrom will make it whether his performance drops or not. The Euro Acquaintances will make it and Hossa will make it. I wouldn't be surprised seeing Homer being voted in if he continues the was he has been playing.

I hereby officially declare that I'm starting a write-in campaign for Lilja. :D

hear, hear.

I can't believe this it's already time for everyone to start complaining about the All Star game again. It got here quick, kind of like daylight savings time and it getting dark before I can get home from work for the next six months. <_<

I'm super pumped up at the idea of an all Red Wing start 5. Pavs, Dats, Hank, Lids and Raf...I'll take it, hell, it almost makes me want to vote for Osgood just to have a clean Wings sweep!

On that note though, too bad Osgood wasn't on the ballot last year when he deserved to be as opposed to this year where he's done nothing to suggest that he's an All Star caliber goalie. Not that he's played bad and he hasn't gotten a lot of help, but he's done little to really separate himself like he did last year. I hope he steps it up and gives me a reason to vote for him because a Wings 6 would be sweet and I kinda think it'd be good if he started playing at last years level sooner rather than later.

Hossa and Ralf will not make it...just a prediction

Just so you know, they are the two players with the most impressive statistics so far for the Red Wings. Ralf is iffy but there is absolutely no way in the blue hell that Hossa won't play in the ASG unless he gets injured.

The Red Wings on the ballot are defensemen Nicklas Lidstrom and Brian Rafalski, forwards Pavel Datsyuk, Henrik Zetterberg and Marian Hossa, and goalie Chris Osgood.

Martry "headcase" Turco is currently the worst starting goaltender in the league. He's on the ballot but not Mule.

duh?

Right now for the West I'm looking to vote for Sharp, Hossa, and Kane. Can't stomach voting for a Duck. On defense, likely Weber and Rafalski. Lids hasn't really had a great start to the season, or looked terribly much All-Star calibur.

As the all-star ballots reflect the previous year AND we won the cup... i would gather all the wings on it should make the team :D

well we can ote as many times as we want and it shows live results this year, so i say we al just write franzen in as many times a day as we can and watch his votes go higher than the people actually on the ballot.
