I swear I was just thinking the same thing, wow! Like I said,I knew we were toast as soon as Chicago scored their first goal, kinda sad isn't it.

Maybe he'll ask for a trade at the deadline? I bet he feels like a ******* idiot. The Pens are carrying on fairly well despite being without their best Dman. And I bet they've got more hunger as a team than the Wings do. In fact, I know they do.

The bad news is that the Wings continue to have defensive lapses, suffer from subpar goaltending, and generally look out of sorts.

The good news is that in spite of those significant problems they are 17-4-4.

Of course this level of play won't get them far in the playoffs, but (and I know people are sick of hearing it) they do still have a lot of time. Frankly I don't care if they play like this all season as long as they keep winning games and get their sh*t together by game one of the postseason.

Just started watching it. And....wow....I don't know what to say.

EDIT: Actually, I do. Is this the worst Wings team since '93?

Talent wise, I think the only team that can compare is the '02 team. In terms of work ethic, yeah. You might say that.

This isn't something new. This reminds me of the way teams like the Oilers and Flames owned us. We didn't win battles, didnt have energy, wouldnt get our hands dirty, and ultimately got pushed and shoved out of the playoffs. I dont expect it to be any different this year, although I doubt well enter the playoffs as 1st or 2nd seed.

We all know that on paper this is an amazing team. I meant in terms of play.

At this point I'd rather have them fighting for the 8th seed. Cause as every game that goes by that they luckily win they just keep playing worse and worse

We need to put the big 3 together right now on the same line.

Down by 2 goals we have nothing to lose, and Pavel and Hank are both getting outscored by Hudler of all people. That has to change, or else Hank will finish with something like 30 goals this season. That's way too low for him.
