Jasper84 333 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 My Comcast in Southfield has it on 901. Try that. I swear, every time there is a game on FSN+ I go up and down the comcast guide several times. I've called Comcast and they say that they don't have it in my area (Brownstown area), and I've checked their web site, and that channel has been non-exsistant on my TV. I've tried 901 before because people have mentioned it, and nothing. Tonight I try again after reading your post, and it worked.
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 FSN+ was a terrible idea. I'd rather all those games be on Versus.

Jwo 7 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 FSN+ was a terrible idea. I'd rather all those games be on Versus. I liked it when they had them on Fox2 when their was a conflict with other teams on FS Detroit,
timothy1997 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 FSN+ was a terrible idea. I'd rather all those games be on Versus. FSN+ was created when conflicts were created with the Pistons and Red Wings games both on at the same time. For a long time games would either be on channel 50 or PASS...even going as far as not broadcasting the game. Fox2 is not the same as Fox Sports Detroit in that Fox2 is a national television channel while FSD is local. Fox2 would buy the rights to broadcast the games every now and then but I cant see Fox2 happy if they not show American Idol on a Wednesday night in favor of a Red Wings game. pjgj13 30 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 What sucks is you go to a bar with a brother and a friend and the damn bar didn't have FSN+. What kind of bar is that?
Rivalred 630 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) http://msn.foxsports.com/id/6447224 I have Comcast and in a different area and it states the game is on 901, but it is not. It actuality it is on channel 899. Depends on the area, that is why I was stating to try channel 899. Your point to the link? Good job cut and pasting though. My point was that every time a game is on FSN+, every one is asking what channel. You are correct in the fact that it depends on your local cable center. titanium2 867 Report post Posted December 25, 2008 I have WOW and they're actually moving FSN+ to digital cable, which I don't think is worth the money. It sucks.
ifonlyicouldskate 11 Report post Posted December 25, 2008 Thanks folks, I couldn't find the game on tv, and spent many nights pissed off because I couldn't find the wings on my beloved TV. 901 didn't show up on my guide either, but once I went to that channel it shows up now, and has now been added to my favorites. I'm taking that its not HD channel and have yet to catch a game on it. But a crappy broadcast is better than no broadcast at all.
CenterIce 83 Report post Posted December 26, 2008 I have WOW and they're actually moving FSN+ to digital cable, which I don't think is worth the money. It sucks. Comcast did that, too. Everything is moving to digital, becuase they want to open up room for more HD channels.
HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted December 27, 2008 I think in some ways it was a good idea and in others it ain't. If you have FSNplus then your set but for the people that don't I think they should put the game on there website.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted December 27, 2008 Don't get me wrong, I'm a Pistons fan. But I seriously don't see how their games take priority over the Stanley Cup Champion Red Wings. And same for if the Pistons had won the title last year and the Red Wings didn't. Anyone else see where I'm coming from?
