where is the bandwagon now? haha :)

No kidding. Can we lock the doors?

Who knows what's going to happen with this game, but there's gonna be ups and downs. People miss a lot by throwing tantrums and turning the game off because the Wings aren't dominating. They'll miss the greatest comebacks that way.

Is anyone else listening to the guys on altitude? They are incredibly unbiased, giving the Wings props and everything.

I know a guy that worked for altitude covering the CHL team up there...the eagles...i never have seen that channel though

Dang, those who left after the 1st are really missing one heck of a game. Hopefully we keep this up or turn it up even more in the 3rd.

I know people don't give homer much credit, but to be able to deflect a puck going that fast, damn.

Nice in the air show by Datsyuk.

Franzens goal was awesome as well.

Due to score:

-Zetterburg

-Hossa

Mike Haynes is incredibly biased. I loved his call of Franzen's goal...."shot score".

I think McNab gives us props but I cant stand the way he talks.

I don't know....thats usually the way Daniels responds to a goal against. I've been watchng/listening closely this whole game, and they've been pretty reflective of the game, pretty much like the Wings feed on FSN. Mad props to the play of the Avs in the first, and then nothing but praise for the Wings coming back in the second.

I don't think Marian is gonna score today but Hank made some good moves on PP but unfortunately, it hit the post so I still his play is improving more and more.

The problem is he can begin to lose the sense of scoring.

<-- :: on the phone with shop.nhl.com cancelling his recent Joe Thorton jersey order::

I know, the sharks are tied with the blues late in the third... lousy bums. Boston won today, go with a bruins jersey. :hehe:

I'm not sure what you mean about the definition of change. You said it was NOT a change, but now you're agreeing with me that it IS a change to move a player and have someone replace him (i.e. a difference, change, move, etc.). Congrats on agreeing with me?

No?

As for moving Lebda, yes, but I'm guessing you don't understand how it works to bring up guys who are on 2-way contracts. Moving Lebda would be enough cap space for us to bring up Helm full time, or bring up Ericsson, Leino, and Helm variably for a game or two, for several games, or for any combination of games to give us some jump throughout the rest of the season. No, you can't bring up Ericsson or Leino full-time, but you have plenty of space for roster movement, which is something that the Wings desperately need and is also the reason why the calls to bring up Leino, Ericsson, and Downey have not been heard.

Lebda is a two way contract? I really don't know, but I would have thought if he was, he would have went down earlier, back when he got benched for a few games.

As for Volchenkov, he makes 2.5M for the next 5 years, would be the best PKer on our team, is a better hitter than Kronwall AND Stuart, and is still a year younger than Kronwall. And yes, Ericsson is better than Lebda right now in all areas, and could replace Kronwall's absence on the PP point. The reason hes not on this team is because he makes too much. As for Filppula, the best time to move him would be now, when his age is still something to take into consideration for teams looking at that fat contract.

So you want to move Lebda for a player who is cheap (relatively), signed long term, and would be our best PKer? I'm all for it, but this isn't NHL 09.

As for Fil, he was signed to that deal based upon POTENTIAL. Holland could be wrong, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

no kidding...can't expect them to sound overjoyed...I still, however think the folks at mellon arena should've been nice enough to play some queen for us while we skated the cup...

I think Daniels is a little more vocal when the opposition scores, especially if it was a nice play, though obviously he responds much more for the Wings goals.

I still have something against Haynes from his radio days..."another right by Roy, another right by Roy, an uppercut! (while Roy and Ozzie are holding each other) YEAH BABY! HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?!". Seriously, wtf is that?
