I think it may have been more on how "hooking" can be called as soon as a stick is parallel. I personally think it's a stupid way to call it. Maybe if it were more of a "1-2-3" call rather than tapping the gloves and insta-penalty. O well, woulda been called on everyone. Expect a few makeup calls in the 3rd. Yup, they've definitely gotten the calls tonight. But then it makes you wonder why they didn't make the obvious calls on Turco for tripping guys. Then again, they probably feel sorry for the guy. I feel like they sometimes give goalies a lot of leeway when it comes to tripping guys. As long as the Wings continue to own Turco though, all is right in the world.
