pazzloski 7 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 Not sure if anyone saw the ducks devils highlights tonight but pronger looked to have laid a vicious elbow on parise. I only caught the very end of it so i didnt see it very clearly, anyone have a link to the hit, i'd like to see it a few times and decide whether or not the league is going to look at it. haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 (edited) I'd have to see a better replay. they showed a brief clip on NHL network, and it honestly looked like Parise wasn't looking as time ran out and ran into Pronger, then Pronger took the opportunity to follow through with the elbow. But it was literally like a two-second clip. It wouldn't surprise me if the collision wasn't as accidental as it looked. Here's the clip. It's still hard to tell if it was incidental contact that Pronger took advantage of, or if he hopped of the bench and lined himself up with Parise.
