I'll take a 3-0 win. Dats, Hudler, Z.

Conks does a helicopter spin on the top of his helmet to make a save on Pahlsson, and the Ducks give up after viewing the breakdancing display.

I'm hoping Lilja knocks Perry on his butt. That kid just annoys me.

I also hope someone besides Lilja takes on Pronger. The game is late enough as it is; we don't need delays to clean up the ice after Lilja's massive blows cause vinager and water to gush from Pronger's ravaged torso.

I have a good feeling about tonight, but then again Anaheim games are usually the most frustrating. I think Detroit-Anaheim games are the only games Anaheim plays where they don't have more penalty minutes, which is bizarre. I usually end up throwing something at the TV during an Anaheim game, but that's what makes these matchups so entertaining.

Draper: Selke Trophy winner in 2004

Pahlsson: Selke Trophy runner-up in 2007

Irrelevant, but Brind'Amour is a -27, two time winner himself.

Damn these late games. Won't be staying up for this one.

Will probably be another tight Wings-Ducks game. 3-2 Detroit I say.. maybe in OT.

I hope Zetterberg gets rewarded for the way he's been playing lately and gets a goal or two. Datsyuk will most likely get one as well.

From MLIVE:

Red Wings' Derek Meech in for Kirk Maltby

by Ansar Khan

Wednesday January 14, 2009, 3:35 PM

Update from Wednesday's morning skate in Anaheim: Derek Meech, who's alternated between defense and forward this season, will replace Kirk Maltby in the lineup tonight against the Ducks. Coach Mike Babcock was not happy to see the fourth line on the ice for two goals by Dallas in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss.

Good to know they are aware of the problems with the 4th line but was really Maltby the right guy to bench? i think they could have benched both draper and kopecky before maltby.. hmm

draper's face-offs ar valuable but I agree that Kopecky could of been benched first, though I don't really see a difference, neither of them really do anything.

I expect a much better effort tonight. The Dallas game made me vomit!! We all know the Wings didn't like their effort!!

I am soooooo glad that Dish Network gives you the option on which broadcast you get to watch, because the Anaheim flunkies are the WORST in the league, I cannot remember their names, but they are terrible, even worse than the Nashville's Pete Weber and Terry Crisp, but I can at least respect Weber and Crisp!

Can someone plaease explain to me why Corey Fairy is still in the league, the guy is a complete D-BAG!! He is like Sean Avery with no balls!!
