Don't use duck tape! They always catch you by matching the pieces back together!

...at least that's what I heard... :lookaround:

Well, you should probably ask your source which isn't you in any way what we should use, then.

Saran wrap sounds like a good plan. I was also thinking those nifty vacuum bags to store old trash away. (Emphasis on trash).

From MLIVE:

Johan Franzen (strained hip) practiced and coach Mike Babcock said he will play Tuesday. Defenseman Brad Stuart (sore ribs, back) didn't skate and won't play. Stuart said he's day-to-day.

That means the Wings will play one man short, going with 11 forwards and six defensemen. Chris Osgood will start in goal. Babcock said he hadn't decided on his line combinations. This is how they looked in practice:

Holmstrom-Zetterberg-Hossa

Filppula-Franzen-Samuelsson

Hudler-Draper-Cleary

Kopecky-Datsyuk-Maltby

Kronwall-Rafalski

Lebda-Lilja

Meech-Chelios

Lidstrom (out)

Stuart (injured)

Osgood (starting)

Conklin

Did Lidstrom practice? Also, what are they going to do with Kopecky and Malty? I know they'll rotate centers, but which ones? All three, just two, or will they also throw Meech up there with them a couple times?

IIRC, Kopy has experience as a center. Of course, this would leave them short on the wing. Perhaps they will throw Meech up.

I'm surprised that they have not called anyone up. From what I understood, they have saved enough cap space to call someone up for one game.

You y'all know how to kill a thread, that is for sure.

This thread is a great example of why I don't visit LGW as much anymore.

From MLIVE:

Babcock said Stuart is not expected to play in the near future. Stuart, who slammed his head into the boards at Phoenix, listed himself as day-to-day.

"My head feels fine," Stuart said. "I hit the boards so hard it caused some issues with my ribs, and my back's sore, too."

No LTIR needed,I guess? Wow,we've been lucky this season.

We've had a few of those day-to-day's.

I consider it prolonging the death of the thread until someone (as 96warrior did below your post) finds some updated information.

So yeah best to keep the thread in sight and in mind then buried some 15 pages back while we wait or occasional updates :D

Hijacking used to really bug me. This puts a new spin on it. I may not be so quick to let it harsh my mellow now.
