On most teams, the fact that Modano or whoever got the shot off would've been a moot point, because it would've been an easy stop for the goaltender. Never said it wasn't a softie. I hear Clint Malarchuk's healed up from his latest brush with death, if he's not in a mental hospital somewhere, we could always pick up. Couldn't hurt. Happy birthday, Dom. Hope you're not watching this game. I think all that needs to happen is someone needs to remind the goalies that their job is to stop the puck. At the trade deadline last year, he turned in his "Red Wings Fan Card" because we got Brad Stuart. Seriously. Can't blame him too much there. I was never a fan of Brad Stuart even when he was in SJ.
