Datsyerberger 279 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 Ow ow ow ow. s***ty way for Langer to go out, hope for the best for him. Atleast now when he sucks, it's not because he's lazy. :/ On another note, I thought those Habs jerseys were prisoners uniforms when I first saw them. Gutierrez 7 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 As a few have already mentioned, bobby's game tying goal against San Jose was epic. Without that we don't win that game and probably go on to lose the series as it would have been 3-1 SJ. Say what you will about Lang, but he was clutch in the playoffs. Hope he gets better. Tendons tend to retract when cut, so what they would have done is start at the ankle, and keep slicing upwards until they found the other end.

kylee 727 Report post Posted February 3, 2009 this may sound so silly but when i read about this it felt ....heartbreaking. he was having such a good year and watching the many Habs games ive been able to, he seemed to have been playing with a jump in his step and a real nice offensive touch. i know as of now its only speculation but what are the chances he makes it back late in the year? playoffs? Sewing an Achilles tendon back together is major surgery. It's going to be some time before he can even walk without assistance. There's a very very very slim chance he'll be back for the playoffs. He may have played his last game.

There's a very very very slim chance he'll be back for the playoffs. He may have played his last game. According to the radio and news stations here in Montreal, he is done for the season. What a tremendous loss to the Habs. They also lost Latendresse for at least 3 weeks with a shoulder injury and They benched Kovy in the 3rd period. Apparently he doen't like to play unless he wears the "C". That is what were hearing here in Montreal.
boomer 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2009 Lang may not have been a bad guy in the Wings jersey , but he was a real wuss in the 2007 playoff finals against the Ducks when Holmstrom went down. Now that he's out , its time to make a trade with Mtl for goaltender Halak , they need offence we need a goaltender to platoon with Conklin; if not were deAD in the water come playoff time with Osgood .
