It was a great game. Our big 3 have been awesome and it's good to know that other people can step up and score when they don't. It's also been good to see better defense and see some more shooting from our side. Overall it was a good game, unfortunate loss of lebda but hopefully we'll get to see Ericsson play a few games!

Not a single point by Z or Pavel? I'll be damned :o

Minnesota was all over them. You could tell their gameplan was to not leave them any room.

Good thing we have more than one line that can score in games like this.

Okay you do that, the rest of us will move on. Sound good? Excellent.

WINGS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't say I was going to go mental about it. I expect a lot from Osgood and would love for him to play better.

Besides the SH goal allowed and the Lebda injury that was the only bad part of the game. I was hoping for a point for Pavel, I like seeing him near the top of the scoring stat list.

Guest mindfly

Wings are playing better now than with the regulars holmström/franzen/stuart.. weird.. although i think holmström would be alot better than cleary for Z and Pavel... the injury to lebda shouldnt be that bad as he skated off and wasn't slow at all.

******* weak Osgood.

Yeah! HE was responsible for whoever the hell the defensive player was NOwhere on the scene.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.....

Enough with the three-cornered finger snap s*** and the knee-jerk responses, please.

I don't know you, so I'm not sure why you think I'm not entitled to have an opinion on a hockey game goal. I'd like to see Osgood play better and make at least ONE OUTSTANDING save this year. Just so I can stop flinching every time there is a good shot on goal against him. Preventing goals is a team effort between a teams goalies and the defensemen (and the forwards), and I've seen Osgood use his stick much than he has this year. I thought he came up short. Feel free to not read my future posts if they upset you.

Helm for the Calder next year. You heard it here first. Leino comes in third in the voting.

Is Helm (or Leino for that matter) even eligible next year? They've already played games for the Wings.

I thought I read something about Leino being too old to be considered a "rookie"?

If that's not the case, he could probably have won the Calder if he had played this entire season, he looks like he's been in the league for years.
