Yeah. I ain't sayin' anything new but I gotta say it: Ovechkin is a friggin' beast. He's had two ridiculous dekes and gotten in alone in front of the net and just not been able to bury it, or we'd have never seen the end of the highlights.

Missed the 1st, but the Caps have looked great in the 2nd. Ovechkin is a monster, Fleury is terrible (they pulled him after the 5th goal) and overall the Pens just look lost.

I love seeing the Pens destroyed.

I have (regrettably) been unable to see many Caps games in recent years, but christ, Green spends more time down by the circles than at his point. The forwards constantly having to rotate and cover must think him a royal pain in the ass.

I heard that too. Don't see how anyone can think the Wings are boring when we get to watch Datsyuk every game.

What Milbury said isnt that far off... they dont play with alot of jump, they arent that exciting to watch (if you arent a fan of the team), and when they arent scoring goals there usually isnt alot of positives. Milbury isnt talking about playoff hockey, he's talking about regular season, and he's not bashing, he saying what he sees, and he's not far off. But to all the haters, as soon as he said it, Pierre said only good things about the Wings until they went to commercial.

The Pens are done. They will not make the playoffs. After todays loss (no they are not going to comeback down 3 goals to the Caps)

they have 64 points in 61 games. If they need at least 90 to make the playoffs (historically that's the min) then they would need to pick up 26 points in 21 games. That means they would have to go AT LEAST 13-8 (0.619) and they have only won 5 of the last 10.

Wings fans really don't give a crap about the regular season. Regular season success is a given in Hockeytown, so of course there is going to be a little less excitement compared to fans of a team like Washington who have not had a long history of regular season success. Why should anyone listen to a guy that doesn't know how to run a hockey team? It's like listening to Matt Millen talk about football. Is it a coincidence that they are both on NBC? I think not.
