I hope that this might actually make for some good violence tonight. I am generally ambivilant to the guy, as I don't see that he adds that much to my team, but if he can get under the Wings players skins as much as he has their fans, then he is worth every penny he is making tonight. In hindsight, he was the best thing that ever happened to the Red Wings. I credit the '97 and '98 Cups to him. Without the hit on Draper, the Wings might never galvanize into the team that played with such cohesiveness and sense of purpose. This team doesn't engage with pests anyway, so I can't see him having any effect on the game tonight. He might get booed, though. Theres no need to go beat up on an old man who's already paid the price for the draper hit. It was ten years ago, we need to stop living in the past and not worry or even care about this guy anymore. The Sharks are alomost positive that Lemeiux will be a distraction to the Wings tonight and they can bury us while we fart around with Claude. The Wings need to ignore him (unless he starts agitatitng (of course that is almost as for sure as the sun rising.)) Problem is if Lemeiux does start up some antics then who id going to put him in his place? Noone. Hopefully the refs keep their eyes on him and once he starts up keep penalizing him until the Sharks coach is forced to change his game plan. If the Wings ignore Claude and he gets 4 or 5 penalties right away, then there will be no more of his crap. Play our game not theirs (not his.)
