Systemfel 33 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 (edited) It sort of looked like Hossa felt some pain in his head before he went crashing into the boards, didn't it? Edited March 4, 2009 by Systemfel

redwing_sparty 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 honestly it didnt look like a cheap shot. he didnt drive him hard. some of this for sure has to do with the fact that he already had an injury. and theres the hand wave
russianswede919293 95 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 No way. Clean hit, unfortunate result. I don't think it was a clean hit. I don't think he was trying to hurt him, but there really was no reason to check him in that situation. Even though it was not intentional it is now Downey's job to send a message not to take liberties with the stars...

Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I guess the only positive I can see coming from this is if Hossa is back by the start of the playoffs and is put on LTIR and we can add a huge piece to the puzzle of the repeat?
The Secret 304 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Precautionary measures to take him off and ensure he is alright.... no need to bury him. Let's let the Doctor's evaluate him before we all chip in and buy him a tombstone. People on this site are insane sometimes.
Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 You can argue clean/dirty all you want, but a player coming back from a head or neck injury SHOULD be off-limits. Remember in the Finals last year when Franzen came back from the concussion and Pens kept knocking him in the head? It's just dirty on its face to do, even if the hit wasn't dirty.
