It seemed most of the better shots came from PP's which is to be expected although they could improve. Also I agree with Sammy on the 1st but it is nice to even have such a cheap player who can move up and down lines so much. He is a great 3rd liner and a decen 2nd, 1st he struggles a bit.

It's just i think most teams can go through to the net too easily, the D aren't doing what they are suppose to do... what scares me the most is when the other team has a player with puck behind the red wings net and pass it in the slot, it always gets through the D to their player and a golden scoring opportunity, happend atleast 3 times this period, not good....

hope you named him after a wing

I named him General, just for you. He will be your leader.

What was that? I can't hear you over the sound of 65 and sunny. ;)

I bet the sun feels warm on the high cut jean shorts and a twisted wife beater!!

You caught me though, with how nice the weather has been there and all the smoking hot woman I have to cut you guys down with something. Besides those damn "it's not cool to say ***" commercials are really pissing me off. I blame Cali for that

Decent period. Offenses played hard but Stuart has to play harder. Ozzie has saved his mistakes throughout the first period.

Ozzie saved their asses in the first period. I agree with whoever said at one point that the score should have been 3-0. His positioning so far has been exquisite. ...(Can you use the word "exquisite" when talking about a goalie??!)

I AM SO HAPPY FOR HIM!!!! :w00t2:

I'd rather watch that commercial than the damn Filet O' Fish commercial. In fact, I'd rather have hot pokers shoved into my eyeballs than watch that commercial.

yeah the fish commercial was great at 1st now it's getting shoved down your throats.

Yeah, the majority of the shots tonight have been from in front of the net.

Well not 3-0 I think. We also had some chances but Lethonen made a good save like on Filp in the beginning of the game.

Regardless of how Lethonen did on the net during the 1st period, Ozzie also played really well in the net. However, that is only one period so here is my confidence that Ozzie will play two more solid periods tonight.

Oh, it does. ;)

I have never seen nor heard of those commercials so I shall claim ignorance and go back to pouting because the sun is bright and making it hard for me to see the TV. So sad, right?

What? When I was growing up, *** meant happy. Then we couldn't say *** for happy because it meant homosexual, which we couldn't say because it had moral undertones, so we couldn't be *** no matter how happy we were. Now you're telling me we can't say *** at all?

I give up. I'm too old for this PC crap.

Second underway. Here's hoping Ozzie continues his great play, and Hossa nets a hattie.

I do agree with whomever it was that said that Atlanta is hard to hate (paraphrasing). They seem like a decent bunch of guys. I'd rather see them do well than some other teams in the east.

When I lived in Alpharetta, I went to several Thrashers games (none against the Wings, those sold out hella fast) and the place was pretty full and had lots of energy. I've got nothing against them, for a Southern city they seemed really into hockey.

I basically chalked that up to Atlanta and its suburbs being mostly Northern transplants.

Wings to the PP!!!
