The game is being televised Nationally across Canada and it will be a hell of a game..the Wings better be ready for a tough physical fast skating Flames team tonight...if Detroit is asleep at the wheel..this game could be over early in the first period...remember the 3rd period of the last game they played each other ? Calgary will come out the same way tonight but with even more intensity..IF..we survive the 1st period tonight..the Wings hopefully can claw out a victory..Go Wings Go !! digitaljohn88 4 Report post Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) Put Conklin in tonight...Ozzie was not strong in the 3rd period against the Thrashers nor against the Flames last game..tonight is really important for us to win..the Flames are hot and could be the team to go through in the West..losing to Edmonton tomorrow night is not as important..put Ozzie in tomorrow night... That was actually Conklin in the 6-5 loss to Calgary a couple of weeks ago. Osgood has won 4 straight and Conklin hasn't played since he fell apart in the third period of that game against Calgary... I think Babcock made the right choice for this B2B. Anyway, I'm kind of hoping for a multi-point night from Hossa to put him back on a PPG pace... make it happen Hossa. But I am predicting that our boys will get tossed around in the first and LGW will complain about team toughness as we'll be down by a goal. In the second we'll even the score but after a few scrums LGW will complain even more about not having enough team toughness.
