Wingsallwin 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 Thank God Ozzie is not in the net tonight! He is this year's Hasek! Hasek? His save percentage was above .900 percentage and he is a tremendous goaltender. That is why he was accepted to start the playoff. Osbad is the worst goalie in the NHL right now. Now, can you compare last year's Hasek and this year's Osbad? If you can, you cannot call you a hockey fan

If you can, you cannot call you a hockey fan Ozzie is this year's Hasek because LGW has already determined that the backup guy is the saviour of the team. Wings come out ready to win tonight. First period scores by Mule and Huds are followed by a goal from Smid. An LGW goalie war ensues, which lasts the rest of the game, pausing to cheer for Pavel's hattie. By the middle of the 3rd, someone notices that there have been no penalties called. Murph and Ken report that Lilja has been using the Force to choke the officials when they try to blow their whistles. ENG from Draper seals a 6-1 Wings victory. How the hell do we expect our backups should be our starters in the playoff every season? Some people are blind right now. Osbad had some good games lately but that is all. We cannot call he had great games against the Flyers and the Thrashers. That was just above average performance for top goalies in the league. 9 games are left. NINE!! Not many games are left. Put Osbad on the game against the Isles and if he does not perform well, bench him and play Conklin who really wants to play.

This made me laugh so hard thank you, I totally needed that. I can just picture Lils up in the box with Kenny and Stevie, sitting in a corner, getting his Darth Vader on. Vladifan 680 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 Ya probably could've let Hockeytown make a real one. Agreed. Nuthin' on you, Zion, but I look forward to Hockeytown's very complete and well-done intros.

Vladifan 680 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 A Wings win today and a Sharks win tomorrow clinches the Central. But, if the Sharks lose in regulation tomorrow and the Wings win today, the Wings would retain the #1 seed and eliminate one of the games in hand. If the Wings win and the Sharks lose their back to backs against the Hawks/Preds, the Wings have the #1 seed with games even and control their own destiny entirely. If the Wings lose today and the Sharks win both back to backs, the Wings will still likely clinch the Central by this weekend but kiss the #1 seed goodbye. Hokay.....Thank you! I think..... I'd like to see the Sharks and Ducks meet in the first round. Even if the Ducks lose that series it would be a ruff one, except the travel, too easy.

Pasha13 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 I feel really bad for Conks coming in and giving up ONE goal (a one-timer in the slot) and getting the L after three soft goals had already done us in. My prediction is a 5-1 win. Barbarian Hossa with 2 goals, Pavs with a goal and 2 assists. Actually as long as we win, I don't care if its 1-0 or 16-15...damn the stats, we need the points. Not Osbad, Oscrap, Oswell, Ossuck or Oss***. Osgood. I'll even spell it out for you. O-S-G-O-O-D. There, this concludes our Hooked On Phonics lesson of the day.
