MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 If this doesn't work, it's time to pack it in... Smirnoff Vodka has teamed up with the Phoenix Coyotes to offer hockey fans a chance to catch the April 7th game against the St Louis Blues game when you purchase a bottle of 1.75l Smirnoff Red Label or Flavored Vodka at any participating retailer. http://coyotes.nhl.com/smirnoff.htm

b.shanafan14 733 Report post Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) Limit of 6. Wow. You can take the whole family to the game and tolerate them when you get home. haha good stuff. This is both hilarious and sad on the Coyotes part. I'm far from a party pooper and I can handle my own with the creature, but isn't giving away hockey tickets if you buy a half-gallon of vodka and then saying 'drink responsibly' akin to saying free cigarettes for life but 'don't go dying on us' Every Coyotes game: "hey, free hockey tickets" Coyotes-Wings game: "awesome! cheap tickets and a free jug of vodka!" Guest Shoreline Report post Posted March 25, 2009 Any takers on the tickets? If they don't want the vodka they can just send it right over. I'm going to be buying a minibar soon and need all the inventory I can get.
evilmrt 636 Report post Posted March 25, 2009 HAHAHAHA. If you didn't think the Coyotes were going under from a whole TWO sellouts (the canucks game last weekend was the second this season), and games that are regularly untelevised in the Coyotes' home market....take a look at this act of marketing despiration! Have fun in Hamilton, Portland, Vegas, St. Louis, or wherever you move.

It's probably some 5-8 hours drive from Flagstaff to LA/Anaheim, the next nearest team's arena (Staples Center/Honda Center), assuming you want to go the cheap way and drive. YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted March 25, 2009 On a more ironic note, Vodka is what was being excessively downed when Phoenix was chosen as an expansion market. Everything comes full circle.

Yeah I actually live in Arizona. Thanks The Coyotes organization is a mess, and a joke. The Wings coming to town is a nice thing, but then you get hassled by the staff at the arena. The organization absolutely hates Wings fans (anyone watched the FSN Arizona broadcasts when Detroit is in town??? they have a gigantic chip on their shoulder about Wings fans!), and I really am not on their side. Plus, the large majority of people here don't give a rip about the game....so I have no problem if they move to somewhere that actually appreciates hockey. I can always go to the Joe when I'm visiting family back in Michigan.

What a bunch of asshats. Hell, I wear my Wings stuff to the HP Pavilion for concerts, for Sharks/Wings games, for Sharks/other teams, and the one time I got hassled was by a drunk fan shouting across the street at me after the Wings played the Sharks, and his drunken yelling+stumbling got himself a disorderly conduct ticket. If he had turned his brilliant ass to the left, instead of to the right, across the street at me, he'd have seen at least 6-10 officers waiting for an idiot to give a ticket to.
