When Osgood lets in more then 4 goals, it's his fault, not the D.

Most of the time it's result of bad defense though. Conklin and Ozzie both have had times where they got shelled this season. So it's not just a particular goaltender, it's obvious the defense has been bad.

Its so funny, I had a strong feeling that this EXACT situation would occur tonight. Whenever the Wings seem to face a bottom of the league team, and are the odds on favorite, we should get ready for a loss. These "gimmie" games usually turn out to be the exact opposite.

I know its terrible luck to say, but I was very close to putting $150 on the Isles tonight. So damn close.

I don't want to get into a goalie war here, and yes I agree the defense has been bad and both goalies have had bad games..but Ozzy hasn't had too man good games aside from that stretch like a week ago or so.

I guess spotting them 2 at the beginning of the game was for chumps. We'll do it at the 3rd. Prove it boys that you deserve the President's Trophy. If they lose games like this, and in this fashion, they don't deserve the President's trophy and deserve the hard way to the cup.
