Maybe babcock is purposely making our lines look like complete s***, so our offensive numbers aren't record breaking and teams underestimate us going into the playoffs, at which point he makes lines that aren't obliteratingly disgusting and we'll dominate.

OR, maybe he's making our lines look like gutter trash so it forces us to play defense so we don't score 10 goals a game and forget about defense.
