Back then people fighting was waaay up. over a fight per game. people fought for no other reason than just to fight. and it was entertaining as hell. Seeing as how I was born in 1989 I found it very difficult to watch hockey. People can fight. I am not knocking on fighting. You are not responding to my argument. What I am knocking on is unnecessary retaliation after clean, legal hits. It is stupid. Checking is part of the game. There is no reason to start a fight after a legal hit. Just because he slipped in his last fight and had a draw doesn't mean that he's no longer a great enforcer. I made a point a few games ago that it looked like Ericsson was getting a Crosby molester 'stache and begged him to shave.
