Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 7, 2009 I don't know how anyone can complain about that game. I'll be the first to complain about the guys, but that was as close to a complete game as its gets in this NHL. Watch 'em *****.

Guest mindfly Report post Posted April 7, 2009 Lids will get 1000pts this season, 4pts to 1000, 3 games left, chances are pretty good
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 Very good game. The best in recent memory. Leaned on Ozzie early, which is understandable given it was a back to back and Buffalo was pressing out the gate, and he was outstanding. Ten minutes later the Wings shut it down and didn't give the Sabres life at all for the rest of the game. Top notch defense, Lidstrom was a beast. After their own end was looked after it was only a matter of time til the goal scoring started... Two thumbs up.
Statts 4 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 Wings are killing other team's playoff hopes. First Wild, now Sabres. Sure is fun crushing other teams hopes and dreams.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 7, 2009 Mathematically Buffalo is still in it but being realistic the Wings just ended their playoff hopes like the Wild's. Wonder if the Wings can now deal Nashville a playoff blow and get St. Louis to squeak by.
MidMichSteve 1,115 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) Hard to find anything bad to say about the teams' performance. Really good game with solid effort by all. At last, the team we've come to love and respect. Back to back no less. And not so much of this here----> Edited April 7, 2009 by MidMichSteve
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 I see Ericsson had a fight tonight. Can someone post that please or link to some highlights? I also see Osgood only let in one goal, and I did see that one, and no blame goes to him for that. Did he play playoff hockey tonight, or was it mostly fluff that he was stopping? Datsyerberger 279 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 Lol @ the chick doing the Hossa interview. "That gives you 40 goals for the 3rd time in your season." Holy s***, Hossa's a 120 goal scorer! Git 'r' done, Kenny!
syntax 359 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) Sure is fun crushing other teams hopes and dreams. Think of it as supporting the golf industry in the slumping economy. Great game guys!! 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 Congrats to Ozzie and the top ten teams in the NHL playing in front of him. Congrats to Hossa on #40. Hopefully we'll be congratulating Dats and Lids soon as well. I see it happening. I really do. Good game, boys.

adtthosa 5 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 Fantastic game. Buffalo just did not look like they were in it all night long. Our forecheck was incredible tonight. Let's keep things rolling for Thursday.

Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 7, 2009 Horrible game 'yo. Ozzie can't win back to back games, and this team has a horrible record during each April 6th playoff game. This team just can't buy a goalie or game. Utterly hopeless.

Winged_Wheeler 3 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 I predicted 4-0 Wings, came out to be 4-1. Ozzie was solid in net and made a stellar save in the beginning of the game. Congrats to Hossa on 40 goals. Defense was good, nice and physical, PK was solid, PP got going, forecheck was awesome.
