Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 Fun for a Wings fan, but if I were a Bruins fan I'd be worried about the wasted energy and possible injuries on stuff like this. Well, your not a Bruins fan, so it`s just great entertainment That Lucic crosscheck was nasty too, but Lapierre deserved it, yappy little f***.

I agree, and wish the refs would have let him and Komisarek go at it, who seemed to want to deliver shots to the head but not face Lucic. Glad we have such a classy team. Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 Bruins up 2-0 and I should have predicted this a sweep.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 Wow Toews just gave the Hawks the lead. Crazy game here.
Mike 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 Lucic could get a suspension for that cross-check to the face of the Habs player.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) Lucic could get a suspension for that cross-check to the face of the Habs player. That would be really messed up since it was just defending himself from "message sending". The NHL really needs to get a grip on these rules since right now they're not making any ******* sense. That and to figure out what their refs are smoking, or to explain why they suck ass so badly this season. Edited April 19, 2009 by Shoreline
EuroTwin 240 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 So I'm watching the BHawks feed. Am I hallucinating or was there just a "Detroit Sucks" chant going on in the background there?

I heard that too Its amazing how much hate hawks fans have for the Wings. Edit: it would be awesome to meet them in the playoffs in the near future Edited April 19, 2009 by Statts

And that there are 28 other teams in the NHL?

And that there are 28 other teams in the NHL? Goes to show the Wings are definitely in their heads. Make sure next time you visit Chicago to go in a Wings jersey. Funny story is, last time I went in a Philly cheesesteak restaurant, them being fully pimped out with their Eagles painted truck and all parked out front all the time, I knew it was going to be interesting to go in there with my Wings jersey. Just like when I go anywhere in San Jose, I always wear something "Red Wings". Edited April 19, 2009 by Shoreline
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 2 minutes left. Hawks trying to go up 2-0 in the series here. Buff had so much room to score and didn't put it home.

Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) I think somebody was holding Vince Vaugh hostage at the hawks game... he looked misrible Hah, I had just did a search for "Dodgeball" to remember that was Vince Vaughn. He looked like he was explaining something to a girl he was with. Didn't know he was a Hawks fan though. Edited April 19, 2009 by Shoreline
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 BHawks announcers just wet themselves with glee over the win. If you think that's bad remember the Sabres announcers.. LALALALALAFONTAIINNEEEE. I always thought that poor announcer (who had to be in his 70s or 80s) might have a heart attack if the Sabres won the cup.

The Hawks are really doing their best to make this exciting though, what with the comeback wins.
shadow47 1 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 You really can't blame the Hawks for being excited, what's it been, seven years since they even played? Have a little perspective.

I know the bandwagon deal and the United Center (is that still where they play??) and how awful it was for years with so few fans attending and even watching, as well as the broadcast issues which likely stemmed from the lack of seats being sold, but it is good to see them back and the fans around again. They'll be competing with the Wings soon enough perhaps for tops in the Central. That is, if the Wings don't move out of the conference first.
