Vladifan 680 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 I don't care what happens in SJ/Ana tonight, but I really want to see some "message sending" that results in nothing less than a 40 game suspension for Pronger. OR, going seven games with four OT's in the last one. (Can they play that many??...)
Vladifan 680 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 Screw you guys for being closer to Canada and getting CBC I actually really like Razor, so I might've picked Versus anyway. Agreed on all counts. We'd love to get CBC in Texas. Fat chance... And I like Razor too, even if he does do the Stars' games in his spare time.
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 Ducks win tonight = Pushes the already iffy under pressure Sharks to the brink, giving the ducks 3 chances at eliminating them. Yeah Can't argue against that. Sharks win tonight = They turn the corner, steal back home-ice and look to have Anaheim figured out. Save some luck and a few opportunist moments and the Sharks should have the series theirs to lose, wouldn't be surprised if they took it in 6. Also can't argue against, so yeah I agree, winner of this game wins the series imo.
C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 I know this is about as prophetic a post as you can get, but I really get the feeling, in this series moreso than ever, that whoever wins this game wins the series. I buy that. Sharks win and it's a best-of-3 with 2 at home, they're in good shape. But if they end up on the brink at 3-1, they'll be nostalgic for the pressure they felt when the series was 2-0 Ducks. Good game so far, the perfect thing to bring me back down from earlier. 10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 San Jose playing a bit better so far. Ducks need to step it up.

Vincanni 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 I like San Jose and hope they make a good series out of this. I however can not resist the lure of getting some revenge on the Ducks and would adore any situation allowing us to vanquish them.
Jedi 1,865 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 Wow. I can honestly say that's the first time I've ever seen the glass that seprates the two teams broken.
Never_Retire_Steve 35 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 I really don't know who I would rather play, the Canucks or the Ducks. Oh well, just please make this series long and OT games.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 I'd welcome Anaheim. They're such a one trick pony - its ridiculous. Playing Perry, Getzlaf, and Ryan 22-24 minutes a game is going to wear them down. Last game, Getzlaf played 24 minutes, Ryan played 21, and Perry played 23. The next closest guy was Selanne and Marchant with 16. Oooh. Those 2 and Ebbett are SO scary. Shut down that line, and the Ducks are done.
10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted April 24, 2009 Yeah i prefer the Ducks over Vancouver too. Plus San Jose will be gone the only team that can match us man for man. If Calgary beats Chicago, them and Vancouver will be one hell of a physical series.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 24, 2009 What the hell is the hold up with the glass that broke between the benches? It's been like 10 mins.
