C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2009 Sharks will still be everyone's Cup pick next year. Just you watch. Bring it. I'm getting itchy (and not just the beard) sitting around this week. Let's play some hockey.

C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2009 You can be overly physical with chokers because it gets under their skin and gets them off their game. What impressed me in 07 is that the Wings didn't let it get to them too much. We need to do that again. Half the people on here will be calling the team pansies, but if the Wings play their game, they will win. If they get into a slugfest, that is playing the Ducks game. Exactly. When one of those toughness arguments pops up on here, my opinion is always that "tough" means being able to play your game even with the other guys taking runs and cheap shots. The Wings are definitely tough in that way, I'm not scared.

Mike 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2009 The curse of the President's Trophy claims another victim. The Sharks' best players were no shows in this series and the Ducks jumped all over it. Nabakov looked flat out awful and Thorton was his usual playoff self. I feel bad for Todd, not the Sharks. Hiller can be happy now, but he will be the saddest goalie in the league when he sees the Winged wheel bearing down on him.

Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted April 28, 2009 I'm looking forward to this series. The Ducks and Wings always bring it against one another. This series will have the intensity the Columbus series lacked.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 28, 2009 Ducks defense was absolutely stunning, and their defense was solid. The Wings offense needs to overcome that defense I've seen stifle our team before. Ducks have experience here and cautiously look forward to this series.
