Ozzie just saved us from an utterly embarrassing end to the period.

The thing is, while Ozzie is doing his job, our D and offenses are drunk.

The list who plays good only

-Helm

-Datsyuk

-Stuart

All other Wings freaking have to wake up. They look absolutely jokers out there

I'm gonna have to complain to my cable company. The channel that's supposed to be showing Versus here must have been showing porno instead, because all I saw was a whole bunch of SUCKING.

HAHAHAHAHA. That is some hysterical stuff.

I figured the ducks would carry the play in the first with their 3OT winner last game. Wings are playing like s***. Still optimistic, and think the Wings will puck it up next period.

seriously whats up with this team, we can play good. I know the Ducks are a good team, but we look bad. No communication, no smart passes, no good shots. I suppose on the positive is that we are able to play better.

I was just saying the same thing. Well, yelling it at the tv actually.

Those soft euros won us a cup last year. Give them time they'll find there game. Im sick and tired of all you wings fans that get so down on the team from a bad period. Ya ide like to see them dominate every period of every game but thats not gonna happen.

This is why many people (myself included) have complained all year that having a soft lineup will catchup with you eventually in the future.

Right now Anaheim has us off our game with these scrums and battles along the boards that we're losing. Wings players haven't been accustomed to this kind of play all season.

Bottom line is that the Wings are soft on the puck and appear to be afraid to crash the net against Anaheim's bigger, more physical team.

That was pretty brutal, all things considered. Just no cohesiveness, no life, no energy. The Ducks have clearly come to play and are acting like they actually WANT TO WIN. I just don't get that from the Wings at all.

I mean, where the hell is Marian Hossa? I feel like we're beating a dead horse with this, but didn't he come to Detroit to play in games exactly like this? It's his chance to prove himself and he's been invisible.

Seriously, the defense can't get Brian Rafalski back quick enough. I don't know what his deal is or what is ailing him, but it needs to be fixed. I'll take a half-effort from him over Chelios every day of the week. Hell, if Raffy can't get back, why not Derek Meech? I realize it's nice to play Chelios and he's so legendary and honored and historic and blah blah blah, but the guy is costing us the series. I really don't think that's a stretch. Yes, the Anaheim goal was just as much Lebda's fault as his, but you can't tell me Meech wouldn't have caught up to, or at least impeded, Selanne.

The Wings need to be an entirely different team the rest of the way. If not, we lose this series and I won't be able to see a duck again for the rest of my life.

Aside from Osgood and Darren Helm, that wasn't much of a period to be proud of as a Wings fan. Not what I expected at all.

Datsyuk and Zetterberg look fatigued. They just look like they are laboring out there, Z especially. I tell ya, you keep pounding up against guys that are 3-4 inches taller and outweigh you by 20-40 pounds, which guy you think is going to wear down first?

Ducks spending more time in our zone.

Ducks with the better neutral zone play.

Ducks shutting down all offense in the defensive zone.

Ducks blocking every ******* shot and/or pass.

TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS!

WTF is going on here? This is not the kind of hockey I expected to see when I got up this morning.
