Really, really pleased with the Wings' effort today. I knew it was't going to be perfect considering the quick turnaround, and it wasn't, but it was just about as good as it could have been. We looked really solid.

Patrick Kane not having a shot is huge. I really liked our team defense, including Ozzie, who made some big stops.

So, yeah, pretty nice stuff. We'll only get better form here on out.

They did turn the puck over a lot in the beginning, but their passing and hard work were awesome. Now its time to turn to game 2.
