Hilarious video of "Zetterberg" preparing for the Hawks

Main problem is that I think the tagline dosen't quite fit the footage. Should have been something like 'No Rest In The Playoffs' or whatever.

"This is my website." Haha :P

Yeah, it takes on a different meaning in this commercial, when spoken by the imposter. Which make s it kinda funny. But, it's a real quote by the actual Henrik when he was handed a printed copy of my website's homepage to autgraph, several years ago.

So what's the biggest surprise in the following video: That Henrik Zetterberg(notes) of the Detroit Red Wings sleeps in full uniform or that he washes his hair with his helmet on?

Clever ... and clearly not Henrik Zetterberg.

The "Zetterberg" in the video would be Jacob Hawkins, a New York-based actor who has appeared on "As The World Turns" and bears more than a passing resemblance to 'Z' (as he does actor Peter Krause, according to MovieFreak.com). He sent us an email last night chronicling the backstory behind this project with friend, director and Detroit native Greg DeLiso: Basically, they both think the NHL marketing campaigns stink and are going viral with their "Day in the Life of Zetterberg" clips in an attempt to get the League's attention.

Personally, I think they're a little corney and I don't particularly find them funny. What I do appreciate is the fact that these guys realize how bad the NHL's marketing and advertising is and are trying to do something about it. Unfortunately for them, these commercials just seem like something that the NHL or Versus would actually make.

The NHL needs to find a new advertising team and try to bring back some of the great feel of the older commercials....

The Nike commercials with Fedorov were great.

Speaking of him, the "coolest game on earth" with him racing Allen Johnson!

The old ESPN commercials were good.

The best commercials, in my opinion, were the old Bud Light Hockey Falls ones...

There's a real reason why companies spend hundreds of millions of dollars for advertising. It's cause it really does help sell the product!!!

And at this rate, the only thing the NHL is trying to sell is Sidney Crosby and maybe trying to convince someone stupid enough to build a miniture replica hockey boards and splexiglass around your flatscreen.

(Don't wanna get this into a Crosby bashing or anything like that, just pointing out the obvious)
