It's painful to see Holmstrom out there, he just lost it all it seems... what a shame...

Lidstrom obviously plays hurt and ericsson is too soft in the back end... a bit sloppy of stuart with the turnover and osgood should have kept that shot..

I love Homer, but when he isnt playing offence he just cant do much else anymore. The FZC line is flying, the 3rd line looks good but Sammy is turning the puck over way too much, and the 4th line is the 4th line. Hossa and Fil have to get some more chances, but Fil has looked very comfurtable, not a great first. Hit more, and the s***ty goal, just turn it around in the second boys!

Really nice play by Malkin, but every single thing the Pens have done offensively that period could have been prevented with better puck control on Detroit's behalf. Wings controlling play and owning the puck all period long, though still I know they can do far far better.

I'd love to see Kronwall and Stuart make a sandwich with Crosby as the "meat" and watch his "Is that pubic hair or is that your beard?" covered head pop off, bounce off MAF's butt and go in the goal.
