I'm not one to blame refs for anything.. but man what a turnaround on that completely obvious 25 second too many men blown call.. huge huge missed call by the refs that might end up costing us the game.

I just wish that Cleary wouldn't have took that nonsense penalty in the offensive zone. There is no reason to do that when you're leading.

Still glad to come out of that period without being down. Could be worse I suppose.

My estimate pregame was a 2 to 1 Pens favored PP ratio so far holding true.

Well technically Pens had 2.25 PP's so its a bit beyond that.

Wings are out-shooting the Pens 12-7, but the Pens have 6 scoring chances to the Wings 5.

That's not good enough.

I'm blaming the refs we had pitts on the ropes I think that powerplay could of been a knockout punch but, even if not they had about half an hour to make the call. It's not like it was a bang too many men on ice briefly.

As an FYI on that, the guy 100 feet away called it. The ref standing right there, didn't call anything and was looking right at it.

At any rate, I'll take 2-2 after 1. The big guns are starting to get it going a bit. I don't like how we can't get the damn puck out of the zone.

I can sort of stand listening to Doc Emerick, but Jesus H Christ Almighty I cannot stand to listen to Eddie "Edzo" Olczyk... wow, you can actually hear him stroking himself and saying "Detroit is so subtle in their interference, which is clearly a penalty and should be called, and I would call it for sure, but they are so good at it" and "the Penguins just got scored on by an unlucky bounce (this in reference to a shot off a Detroit stick straight into the net"... Yeah that was a nice dive by the Penguins. I don't know though, if I recall correctly, Stuart (or Kronwall) was screening Ozzie. So he never really saw it I don't think. So I don't know if I can really fault him for it.

The difference in the game right now is the officiating and the soft goal given up by Ozzie. That goal was Fleuryesque.

We need to be better on faceoffs. We're being dominated right now, especially on the PK.

I miss Pavel's defense much more than his offense in this series. He is really good at clearing the puck. Wings seems to have a problem with it. Also faceoffs. Wings winning faceoffs and second Pens PP is no problem.
