I feel absolutely horrible for Hossa. He's the only man out of both teams that is 0-2 for Cups. And he took less money...he looked like he was going to cry, or was crying, immediately at the end of the game.

Conklin is the real curse. 3 Cup finals, 0 wins.

As for Hossa, I can say I am just really disappointed. Just a poor poor playoff performance.

Only way I would want him back is for around 5 million. He should know that unless he plays when it counts, he doesn't deserve more then that.

Lifeless robots can't cry. They don't have feelings.

Hopefully when I wake up tomorrow morning, I'll either be dead, or Hossa will already be gone from Detroit.

You should wake up and feel awful for being such a goddamn idiot if you think this loss has anything to do with a single player. How many points did Crosby have in the series?

Its sad to see the media was even saying he sucks in the finals and people on here say he sucks, but then you have some wings fans that must be blind and deaf to not notice that he did suck for us. I wouldn't get him $3.5 million a season, I would give a team $2 million just to take him away from our team.

I feel awful that I have to respond to your post, because it's a waste of time as are you.

I don't care what Crosby did in this series. Apparently he did enough to skate the Cup and took up much attention from Lidstrom and Hank.

Stuart maybe, Osgood, no. Osgood played pretty damn good still, 2nd was a softy but seriously, if the defense would have been around tonight, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I say hit the road Hossa, be a regular season all-star, leave the cup for the people who really want it.

Osgood was asked to do absolutely nothing tonight except make routine saves. He failed to do so. He sucked all season and sucked when the team needed him most tonight.

You think Hossa didn't want the Cup? Do you have the memory of a dog? Did you forget the part where he turned down nearly ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS from the Oilers for a chance to come to Detroit FOR A SINGLE SEASON to win?

I feel for Hossa as well. The press is going to give him a bad rap. If he would have stayed with the Pens for an ungodly amount of money, the Pens probably wouldn't have made it as far as they did this year. The Pens would have no made the trade for Guerin and Kunitz. Who knows what the chemistry would have been like. Who knows how the Wings would have done this year without Hossa.

If anything, Hossa will learn from this experience. His will and desire to win a championship will go into the offseason and next season he will be ready to compete again and even harder this time. It all doesn't fall on his shoulders though, but if he brings an A+ effort, his teammates will rally around him.

I hope he resigns with the Wings at a discount.

i feel bad for hossa but i'm soooo tired and annoyed with the whole hossa saga. i love him, would love to see him back in detroit, but jesus christ did he ever play like s*** in these playoffs. i believe he only scored in 3 games all playoffs. thats awful from our #1 goal scorer.

people need to stop bashing him. he had a good regular season but a s***ty playoff. a lot of people didnt produce like sammy, hudler, homer, datysuk and kronwall so we shouldnt sign any of them or trade them away.

I STILL LOVE MARIAN HOSSA AND HOPE HE STAYS UNLIKE THESE BANDWAGON JUMPERS

Kinda hard to win a game when you only score 1 goal. Also, the bounces favored the Pens today. Not Stuarts fault in the least.

Sorry, but if you're as dumb as you've come off in this thread, I'm sure you view anything that could make an intelligent point as a waste of time.

One person doesn't win a Cup. Gretzky couldn't do it alone, Crosby couldn't do it alone, Malkin couldn't do it alone, and Hossa sure as s*** couldn't do it on his own. To use him as a scapegoat for the team's shortcomings is so far beyond stupid that the English language lacks the words to accurately characterize it.

Let's see here. First goal: Stuart tries to clear the puck up the middle (don't they teach you not to do this when you're four?), turns it over, and Talbot scores. Second goal: Stuart pinches when he shouldn't have, which results in a two-on-one, and Talbot scores.

Hossa definitely needs to stay. I mean seriously. The guy is a top 10 forward in the league. You can't let a player like that get away. I'm sure he feels worse than anyone. The rest of the team won last year, and Hossa is the only man on both teams that is 0-2.

If people wanna bag on a player tonight, bag on Stuart. My God man, he costs us the penalty, and costs us both goals. Just unbelieavable.

Ty Conklin is now 0-3
