They will make the playoffs and are not Bullies 2.0 but I voted bullies 2.0 because they will make the playoffs.

The will be a very entertaining and good team, they may be brutes but they do have some skill there as well.

The Flyers will be a very good team. The flyers will not win the Cup. The Flyers are good for the league, and we should all sallute Philly management for icing a lineup that will be more interesting than MLS or the WNBA. Anything that gets people watching is a good thing.

He has the potential to play very well; he did in Ottawa's cup run. It's more his attitude, but maybe 'character guys' like Pronger and Laperrière can get him on the right track. In any case, I couldn't care less how he plays, I just want to see him fight. I'll never forget when he took on Andrew Peters.

In any case, teams that face Philly and Toronto (assuming they make the playoffs, not a given in the Leafs case) in the postseason will sure pay a price to get through them.

Also, why is Toronto called the Maple Leafs? Surely they should be the Maple Leaves...

That's okay, every lineup in the NHL is more interesting than MLS or the WNBA.

Philly is just more and more interesting.

Let's hope they play the Wings in Detroit.

That might only happen if they play Detroit twice this year, because this last season they played us here, so it's probably our turn to go to philly.

As much as i hate Pronger now that he is a Flyer im going to enjoy watching him pulverize Criesby's tender a$$ with his throbbing manhood, 6 games a year and possibly playoffs.

they will probably make the playoffs, but im going with a first round exit again. brute force didnt work for them last, wont work this year either. they have skilled players but they disappeared in the playoffs, jeff carter anyone? their 3rd and 4th line did most of the work. eventually teams will just take the punishment, along with a nice string of PPs. the penguins dismantled them by playing with alot of discipline. emery sucks and will probably get at least one suspension. laperriere hardly scores, what was he brought in for? to replace knuble?? yeah right. and one all star defenseman (pronger) will not make up for the other 4s inability, timonen can hold his own but thats about it.

and to everyone putting broad street bullies 2.0, please give your reasoning. you cannot play like that anymore without getting punished.

Malkin seemed to avoid detection for his late game indescretions...Do you think there's a chance that other players will go unoticed as well

thats not even an issue :P they have reputation, and whether you like it or not, that will play into it.

From TSN:

The Philadelphia Flyers named John Paddock assistant general manager after the 55-year-old spent the 2008-09 season as coach of the team's American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms.

Don't worry, he was in the organization before the signing of Emery.

I don't think they will be the "second coming", but they won't be "marginal" either. Mr. Campbell might be even busier than usual.

Great. It'll make up for the sweet f*** all he did in the playoffs.
