He had a good game, but hang onto some of that cynicism. It's a long season (and, more importantly, postseason) after all. :P

Very true, but all the reports I've been reading have been saying he's been looking good. I dunno, all I know is I'm not going to ***** about him being on the team anymore. Meech can be the scapegoat now.

Flip, Williams, Abby and Leino were the best players of the game imo. I think J.Willy was a brilliant move by Holland! Oh yeah, Cleary was rock solid as usual.

Bert needs to work harder. He seems to want the play to come to him.

I've got a really good feeling about Filppula this season.

Leino with 2 assists, Abs with a goal and assist, these two are rippers!

As for Jason Williams, given I've always been in the pro signing Williams camp, I'm happy with his start.

Someone has to guess the score will be 14-3 :P

Besides, it's just pre-season. Expectations are low. ;)

I like you sig, btw. Very nice!

One of these days you'll be dead on right. Only from what I remember, the last time a score like that happened a certain goalie got traded to a certain city where people ski and then proceeded to beat the Wings for a cup.

Oh and yeah, TeeMan is awesome. Although I kind of feel like that should be your sig, haha.

When I am right with one of my ridiculous predictions I will probably pass out from the shock.

It would probably be overkill if I ran around with a Eurotwins sig. As pretty as they may be. Er. I mean. Manly. Or something. Pretty may not be the adjective you were hoping for in regards to your sig.

I couldn't help but notice people complaining about Meech. Just for accuracy, anyone who says "Meech has been terrible all preseason" is wrong, as Meech was the first star against Philadelphia without actually scoring a point. In the game against New York, Meech may have made a glaring turnover, but was involved in the play on Williams' goal also.

As for the "Lebda is so much better" talk; Lebda screened Osgood so he couldn't see Ansimov's wrist shot on New York's first goal. Hard to argue that being any better than turning the puck over.

It's no biggy Eva, neither will be a top six d-man in Detroit next season :)

He may have given him too much space to go in but you can't just give the player the path to the net on a 1v1. You have to be between him and the goaltender unless you are trying to push him to the outside.

Get used to it. He's a Lang type of player who minimizes the energy he spends chasing the puck and just waits for opportunities to present themselves.

Now just wait a minute. Bert is nothing like Bob. Bob was a happy go lucky anti-oxident floater. Bert is a potentially highly carcinogentic floater. World 'o diff.
